Micro Advocates believe

that although microbusinesses are too small to be counted as part of Small Business the numbers are too large to go unrepresented as a separate and unique business sector.

Micro Advocates believe

that microbusinesses having less than two employees shouldn't be considered individuals and pay the highest premiums for health insurance when microbusiness owners have the least use of healthcare as they “can’t afford to be sick”.

Micro Advocates believe

that microbusiness owners should be able to secure bank financing or government backed loans without collateral. We know that we do not qualify for small business programs. Most of us use credit cards with high APR’s for financing and cash flow.

Micro Advocates believe

that Private, Nonprofit and Government mentoring programs are designed for small business and not for the unique needs of microbusiness owners who must take on many business roles from accounting to marketing and sales.
